Don't wanna hear your voice
You are so hateful
Don't wanna listen to your lies
When you are around
I feel so trapped
In this world that is twisted and dark
I guess I have to change
To play this place's game
Be the one that is not stepped on
Standing up for all that
I believe is good
But embrace this rage that burns my soul
Now I know
For you I'll become a
Monster now
Like you like your kind
I can't believe my eyes
You are so dead inside
I don't believe a word of what you are saying so
Take away your lies, you can't control my mind
I won't be your joke anymore
If you get hurt just know
You have brought it on you
Treating others like I'll treat you
Slimy creature you talk sweet just for show
But in truth you don't care at all
I can see right through
For you I'll become a
Monster now
Like you, like your kind
And I'll become the
Thing that I despise
To make you understand
Is this the path?
These scars are part of me now
I don't belong
But can I leave?
This feeling
Can't go back now
The weakness has been destroyed
You listen to me now
My word is your command
I played your game and I won
You are gonna fix this place
Make it what it should
I've finally found my strength, my desire
If you get hurt just know
You have brought it on you
Treating others like I'll treat you
Slimy creature you talk sweet just for show
But I've learnt now
And now you will fall
Now you'll fall
For you I'll become a
Monster now
Like you
Like your kind
And I'll become the
Thing that I despise
To make you understand
This is my path
This album is phenomenal. If you like power metal, if you like hopeful, adventurous music driven with emotional energy, and all of it enveloped in enrapturing melodies, then this is for you.
The male vocals are soaring, clean and fully capable, while the rarer female vocals are equally lovely.
I think the colors on this album art should be more vibrant, because these drab, muddy browns don't do justice to the electric color palette of this sweeping, mighty music! Selrisitai
Loads of Cliff Burton-era Metallica and Iron Maiden in a 2018 production. Fat layers of excellent vocals not heard since Dio. Form and function match up perfectly. FallenAngel
